La Jolla Historical Society Gardern Tour 2011

I was truly honored to do floral arrangements for the Historical Society’s 2011 Garden tour this year!  I had a wonderful time creating the  table scapes this year.  We used shell inspired white and  light blue for the interior of the home and earthy greens with succulents at the exterior deck table.

For the interior table we used white phalaenopsis orchids, white roses and stock.  Adding shells at each place setting enhanced the overall look.  We also used glass balls that were filled with sand,  a single orchid and candle to give a glow at each place setting.  Menu’s were donated by Sweetpaper of LaJolla and Classic Party Rentals provided the glassware.

For the exterior table we used various succulents, green roses, green apples and dianthus.  We used mostly succulents for the centerpiece and added a few florals to give it some variation.  I love to do something like this for my clients.  As flowers expire, just keep adding new ones and you can continue to keep the centerpiece all summer long!  Menus were donated by Sweetpaper of La Jolla and dishware by Classic Party Rentals.

Birthday Dinner at the Sky Room

This was a fun intimate birthday dinner at the La Valencia’s Sky Room.  Sweetpaper, in La Jolla, did the menus and place cards.  I love working with them.  Super creative, friendly and easy to work with.

One Red Hot Mama

This party was for one ‘muy calente’ woman.  We used red roses, deep red peopnies and red carnations.  Added some red chili peppers and red jewels, and tada… one red hot mama!
